Who are we?
We are an outreach/Evangelism program started by Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church of West Fargo, ND. We exist to provide quality Christian Education in a safe and caring environment where children with their families can grow in their knowledge of God's Word and develop an educational foundation for their future.

Why should I send my child to a Christian preschool?
Christian preschool education nurtures and strengthens the faith of each child and supports Christian parenthood and home life. It also provides developmentally appropriate practices to promote social and academic growth. With the Lord's help we will serve you to the best of our ability.

How can I learn more?
If after looking at this website you would like to learn more about Little Lambs Christian Preschool, please contact us for a registration packet. The packet will include a parent handbook, enrollment application, and permission slips. You may also wish to set up a visit to the preschool. Please contact us and we will find a time that works for you.

What do I need to do in order to enroll my child?
Once you have decided that Little Lambs is the preschool you would like your child to attend, please fill out the forms in the registration packet. Return the forms to the preschool with your registration fee and a record of your child's vaccinations.

What curriculum do you use?
Our Christ-centered curriculum builds upon each individual's own skills and experiences. We utilize play, interactive and engaging teaching methods as well as quiet and relaxing activities. Our scriptural content will be guided by the ChristLight curriculum published by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Little Lambs makes use of the "Get Set for School" curriculum by Jan Z. Olson, OTR to guide teaching shapes, colors, letters, and numbers. Books games and exercise will also be used. Everyday we will spend a few minutes at our Savior's knee with a Bible lesson and devotion. We will share with the children Christ and His love for us. We will sing Christian songs and poems. Little Lambs wishes to make children aware that our words and actions are a means of showing our love for Christ and each other.

How can I, as a parent, be involved in my child's education?
We will create opportunities for parents to participate, to the best of their ability, in school and extra-curricular activities. Children love to see their parents visiting and helping at school and we welcome parents to visit. We recognize that God gives the responsibility of raising children who know and love Him to their parents. It is our goal to assist families as they grow in their love for our Lord and for each other.
